Power Source Motors Warranty

This limited warranty applies to eligible engines, transmissions, and parts sold by Power Source Motors. Warranty coverage begins on the date the customer receives the item.

Warranty periods

Used engines and transmissions: 90 days from delivery.
Other mechanical and electrical parts, including ECUs: 30 days from delivery.

What this warranty covers

This warranty covers a defect that prevents an eligible item from functioning substantially as described at the time of sale, subject to the conditions and exclusions below.

How to make a warranty claim

Contact Power Source Motors at info@powersourcemotors.com before disassembling, repairing, modifying, or returning the item. Provide the order details, installation information, a description of the problem, and reasonable diagnostic evidence such as photographs or video when requested. Power Source Motors may require an inspection or additional information before approving a claim.

Warranty exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect installation, improper fluids, overheating, lack of maintenance, abuse, racing, modification, or use outside the item’s intended application.
  • Incompatible vehicle applications or continued operation after a defect appears.
  • Normal wear, seals, gaskets, fluids, filters, belts, hoses, consumables, or other maintenance items unless expressly included in writing.
  • Damage caused after delivery, storage conditions, accidents, or transportation arranged by the customer.
  • Labor, installation, diagnostics, towing, transportation, storage, rental vehicles, lost profits, or other consequential costs.

Warranty remedy

For an approved claim, Power Source Motors may, at its option, repair the eligible item, provide a replacement item, or refund the eligible purchase amount. A remedy does not extend the original warranty period unless required by applicable law.

Important requirements

Do not disassemble, repair, modify, or return an item without written instructions from Power Source Motors. Unauthorized disassembly or repair may make the item ineligible for warranty coverage.
