Power Source Motors Refund & Return Policy

This policy explains when eligible Power Source Motors products may be returned and how refunds are handled. Do not send an item back without written return authorization.

Standard returns

Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery. To qualify for a standard return, the item must be unused, uninstalled, unmodified, and returned in its original condition with the included parts and packaging where applicable.

Return authorization

Contact info@powersourcemotors.com with the order information, reason for the return, and photographs when requested. Power Source Motors will provide written instructions if the return is approved. Returns sent without authorization may be refused or delayed.

Return shipping and restocking

For an approved non-defective, change-of-mind return, the customer is responsible for return shipping and the original shipping charge is not refundable. A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply based on the item’s condition, packaging, handling, and resaleability.

Defective items

Defective items are handled under the Power Source Motors Warranty. Contact Power Source Motors before disassembly, repair, modification, or return so the issue can be reviewed under the warranty process.

Damage during transit

Inspect shipments before accepting delivery whenever possible. Photograph the packaging and item, note visible damage on the delivery receipt or bill of lading, and contact info@powersourcemotors.com within 48 hours. Do not discard damaged packaging while the carrier claim is being reviewed.

Incorrect items

If the item received is not the item ordered, contact Power Source Motors within 7 days of delivery with photographs and the order information. Power Source Motors will provide instructions for correction when the error is confirmed.

Installed, used, or modified items

Engines, transmissions, and parts that have been installed, used, disassembled, modified, altered, or operated are not eligible for a standard change-of-mind return. An eligible defect may still be reviewed under the Warranty.

Special-order items

Special-order items are non-returnable unless they are defective or were supplied incorrectly. Confirmed special-order cancellations may be subject to the deposit and hold terms below.

Deposits and holds

Deposits and holds are applied to the related order. They are refundable if Power Source Motors cannot fulfill the order. If the customer cancels after the item has been reserved or sourced, the deposit or hold may be non-refundable.

Refund timing

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days after the returned item has been received, inspected, and approved. The time for a refund to appear depends on the payment provider and financial institution.
